About coupons

Coupons can be used to give all or selected of your customers special discounts.

For instance you can decide to provide all customers a percentage discount of 10% on their next order if they navigate to your store page where you display the coupon code.

Or you can decide only to provide selected customers who have previously placed an order with you a fixed price discount of €10 on their next purchase.

Adding coupons

To add a coupon in the Store Manager Dashboard navigate to menu ‘Coupons’ and click the ‘Add New’ button.

Give your coupon a unique name (2 coupons across sellers cannot have the same coupon code name). For instance name it preceeded by your Store Name followed by a unique identifier.

If it contains any words they must be in English language.

For this example we enter coupon code “Genevieves January discount” in the ‘Coupon Code’ field.

NOTE: If your coupon code contains any words ensure you enter in English language!

The next field ‘Description’ is an optional mouse-over text in English language visible in your store page if you make the coupon code visible to everybody who visits your store page by ticking ‘Show on Store’.

In field ‘Discount Type’ decide whether you want the coupon to give a “Percentage Discount” or a “Fixed Product Discount” like we for above example selected “Percentage Discount”.

Depending whether you are giving a percentage of fixed price discount in next field ‘Coupon Amount (% or €)’ enter the percentage discount or price discount in Euro (€) like we for above example entered a percentage discount of 10%.

Field ‘Coupon expiry date’ can be used to set a date on which the coupon code is no longer valid like we for above example set the coupon to expire 1st February 2022 thus allowing the coupon code to be used until 31th January 2022.

Finally field ‘Show on Store’ if ticked will make the coupon code visible to everybody who navigates to your store page.
